While he wasn’t busy serving Tequila to unsuspecting party-goers, Bill Murray took a break to catch the Electrolightz’ performance at the SXSW festival. Something tells me I need to make it to Austin next year, and finally catch one of these events! The E-lightz have been all over the map these days, and are scheduled to appear at University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMASS) on April 25th, alongside Ludacris, New Found Glory, and LMFAO. More endorsements for GuerillaPress.net, this time from model/actress/singer Somaya Reece. Not only has Somaya established herself as a fixture in the world of hip-hop videos, she’s appeared on the big (and small) screen in “Entourage,” “The Scorpion King,” and “American Psycho.” Just through with wrapping yet another music video shoot, Somaya dropped in to leave a quick message. Seen here in just one the day’s many costumes, Somaya fans can catch her soon in Ras Kass’s “Since You Been Gone” video. Rumor has it there was an eyepatch involved as well.

Never a dull moment at GuerillaPress, as my various adventures often lead to the unexpected…take for instance this meeting with former WBO Heavyweight Champion “Relentless” Lamon Brewster, at a time when I’d normally be falling asleep on the couch watching shark attack videos.  The last man to knockout Wladimir Klitschko (or even defeat him), Mr. Brewster was good enough to take a moment and say hello to the GuerillaPress Network.

Not to worry, the economic apocalypse did NOT claim another victim!  The Press is alive and kicking, and back from a much-needed round of cosmetic surgery. Indeed, my new tagline could be “GuerillaPress.net – now with 100% less Flash!” I hope you’ll find the new format to be more accessible and user-friendly – and with the ‘Press branching out in new directions, more fun as well.  Visitors can expect more articles and portfolio updates, as well as  client content such as music and videos.  As always, I invite all guests to participate and exchange ideas…
